Релігійна прецедентність у мові української прози кінця ХХ – початку ХХІ століття

Abstract

У реферованій дисертації здійснено системний аналіз прецедентних релігійних феноменів, репрезентованих у текстах сучасної української художньої прози, доведено правомірність виокремлення понять «релігійна прецедентність» і «прецедентний релігійний феномен» як складників загальної теорії прецедентності; схарактеризовано специфіку категорії інтертекстуальності; установлено співвідношення категорії прецедентності й категорії інтертекстуальності; визначено й описано основні типологійні характеристики прецедентних релігійних феноменів, ужитих у творах сучасних українських прозаїків; з᾿ясовано семантичне наповнення й розкрито основні функції прецедентних релігійних одиниць, репрезентованих у текстах сучасної української художньої прози; описано типи інтертекстуальних зв’язків, що встановлюються між текстами сучасної української художньої прози і текстами релігійного змісту; визначено найбільш продуктивні способи актуалізації прецедентних релігійних одиниць у прозовому тексті. Дисертаційна робота є першою спробою вивчення прецедентних релігійних феноменів, виявлення закономірностей їхнього оприявнення й функціонування в художньому тексті.

В реферируемой диссертации осуществлен системный анализ прецедентных религиозных феноменов, представленных в текстах современной украинской художественной прозы, доказана правомерность виделения понятий «религиозная прецедентность» и «прецедентный религиозный феномен» как составляющих общей теории прецедентности; охарактеризована специфика категории интертекстуальности; установлено соотношение категории прецедентности и категории интертекстуальности; определены и описаны основные типологические характеристики прецедентных религиозных феноменов, встречающихся в произведениях современных украинских прозаиков; определено семантическое наполнение и раскрыты основные функции прецедентных религиозных единиц, представленных в текстах современной украинской художественной прозы; описаны типы интертекстуальных связей, которые устанавливаются между текстами 17 современной украинской художественной прозы и текстами религиозного содержания; определены наиболее продуктивные способы актуализации прецедентных религиозных единиц в прозаическом тексте. Диссертационная работа является первой попыткой изучения прецедентных религиозных феноменов, виявления закономерностей их актуализации и функционирования в художественном тексте.

The refereed thesis presents a systematic analysis of precedent religious phenomena that made it possible to find out the specifics of their functioning in the Ukrainian prose of the last decade of the 20th and early 21st century and figure out their role as actualizers of spiritual and cultural memory. The specifics of ethnic and linguistic consciousness is defined by precedent phenomena that belong to the nuclear components of cognitive base and as an object of a scientific study are the basis of the theory of precedentity which organic component is the religious precedentity. Religious precedentity is considered as a complex phenomenon as long as religious discourse includes all texts of religious content, contributing to the implementation of speech acts, which semantic content belongs to the sphere of religion. These texts have the status of precedent religious phenomena. In the paper, the concept of “precedent religious phenomenon” is interpreted as a complex sign characterized by semantic integrity and connectivity. Besides, it has the ability to save information about beliefs (from ancient to modern ones) of representatives of a religious community in a summary form. The concept is constantly revolving in the speech with the help of appropriate language signals, which actualize its standard meaning. Taking into consideration the interconnection of the categories of intertextuality and precedentity, the author determined the specific category of intertextuality and the correlation between precedentity category and the one of intertextuality. These categories are considered as two separate units that are exponents of the theory of intertextuality and the one of precedentity. These theories have correlated intersection points that are shown in the possibility of precedent phenomena actualization in metatexts via intertextual references. Precedent religious phenomena used in the works of modern Ukrainian writers are determined by the following typological characteristics: a) by the level of precedentity: socially precedent, nationally precedent; b) by the form of verbalization: verbal (precedent 18 name (by the type of a proper name: theonyms, angelonyms and agionyms, demonyms and orkonyms, biblical mythotoponyms, iconyms, anthroponyms, biblionyms, ecclesionyms, heortonyms, periodonyms, processonyms, biblical oiconyms, oronyms, hydronyms; by specifics of symbolic filling: monosemantic and polysemous; by the number of components: monosyllabic, composed tied, composed free, composed free with one mandatory part, and double precedent religious names), precedent statement (only with superficial meaning; they show superficial and deep meaning; they do not show superficial meaning, and the system sense is actualized through deep meaning)), verbalized (precedent text, precedent situation (generally factual, role)); c) by the feature of transformation: non-transformed (canonical), transformed (they experienced structural and semantic, morphological and semantic or simply semantic modification); d) by the presence of attribution elements: attributed, non-attributed (with graphical marking and without it). According to their semantic content, the analyzed precedent religious phenomena perform an informative signaling function in the titles of contemporary fiction texts. In the epigraphs, they operate as means of tuning, prediction and coding. In the “main body” of the work, they perform functions of metaphorization, expressive filling, and traditional and customary identification. They also perform nominative and informative, ludic, persuasive, instructive and educational, and plot-compositional functions, ensuring the implementation of the author's intention. Between the texts of contemporary Ukrainian fiction and texts of religious content basing on their interpenetration, different types of intertextual relations are established (simple intertextuality, paratextuality, and metatextuality – by the specifics of transparent and hidden relationships between the texts; rhetorical intertextuality – by the criterion of intentionality; partial and mimetic intertextuality – by the sign of structure). Quoting, text application, text allusion, and paraphrase are the most productive methods of intertextual interactions that contribute to the implementation of a variety of intertextual relations and actualization of precedent religious phenomena in the texts of modern Ukrainian literature. Creative imitation is found much rarely than all of the intertextuality methods mentioned. The thesis is the first attempt to study precedent religious phenomena and identify patterns of their showing up and functioning in the fiction.
