Abstract

The presence of inflammatory processes in the rectum lead to changes in biopharmaceutical parameters due to the destruction of capillaries of the mucous membrane.One of the steps in the pharmaceutical development of rectal dosage forms is the selection of a base, which is a significant factor in creating the required pharmacological effect at the site of the drug.
