Carboxytherapy as an alternative off lable method for diabetes mellitus treatment: a review

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of the global medical and social problems of the XXI century. It was found that patients with diabetes mellitus showed an increased severity of coronavirus disease (COVID19) caused by infection with coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). At the same time, the development of new modern technologies allows the use of innovative methods for the treatment of diabetes. The purpose of this literature review was to analyze the possibilities of using carboxytherapy in the treatment of diabetes mellitus.
