Study of antimicrobial activity of lavandula angustifolia extracts using in vitro conditions

Abstract

The directions of application of the Lavandula angustifolia plant are diverse. The study of the phytoncide activity of lavender essential oil showed that under its influence the content of staphylococci and streptococci in the air decreases. When using vapours of lavender essential oil in workplaces, there is a normalizing effect of the oil on the heart rhythm, reduction of fatigue and headache after work, increased vitality, general improvement of well-being.
