| Description: | From the leaves of Rhododendron: arbutin, coumarins (coumarin, umbelliferone, esculetin, scopoletin, esculin), 12 flavones (kaempferol, 5-methoxykaempferol, querce6n, avikulyarin, gvayaverin (polistahozid), quercitrin, giperozid, isoquercitrin, rutin, myricetin, miritsitrin), 2 catechin – (+)Catechin, (-)Epicatechin were isolated and iden6fied. The method of chromatographic analysis allowed the iden6fica6on of – ferulic, feruloilquinic acids; the method of thin layer chromatography – ursolic and oleanolic acids, saponin, chlorophylls. A new polyphenols herbal medicine Rh. luteum Sweet. Possess spasmolytic, anti- inflammatory, choleretic and analgesic action. The obtained results demonstrate the prospects plants of genus Rhododendron L. Family Heath Ericaceae implementation for the development and applica6on of new low toxic medicines. |
