| Abstract: | In inflammatory diseases of the periodontium mucous membrane of the oral cavity is inflamed and is sensitive to food and medicines, therefore, the use of a semisolid formulation is the best option for the treatment of such pathologies. Dental gel has several advantages over other dosage forms used in the oral cavity, such as uniform distribution on the mucous membrane, prolonged release of active pharmaceutical ingredients and high bioadhesive properties |
