Abstract: Geum urbanum L. belongs to the family Rosaceae, subfamily Rosoidea. grows throughout Ukraine in weedy places, in bright forests, among shrubs. In folk medicine grass of G. urbanum L. is used for diarrhea, dysentery, fever and as a sedative remedy. Herbal remedies from rhizomes with roots of G. urbanum “ƏCZAÇILIĞIN MÜASİR PROBLEMLƏRİ” AZƏRBAYCAN ƏCZAÇILAR ASSOSİASİYASININ V BEYNƏLXALQ ELMİ KONQRESİ, 2021-ci il 156 L. is recommended for catarrh of the gastrointestinal tract, flatulence, simple and bloody diarrhea, dysentery, intestinal colic, and liver and gall bladder diseases. Grass and rhizomes with roots (Herba, radix cum radicibus Gei urbani) harvested in 2017-2018 in the vicinity of Kharkov and the Kharkov region was the object of the study
