| Abstract: | Epilepsy takes one of the leading places among neurological diseases, which greatly affects life quality and life expectancy. The aim of research is studying the anticonvulsant activity of new original thiazolidinone derivatives on the pentylenetetrazole (PTZ) and maximal electroshock seizure (MES) test. It has been shown that 5-[(Z)-(4-nitrobenzylidene)]-2-(thiazol-2-ylamino)-4-thiazolidinone is a promising compound with polytropic mechanism of anticonvulsant action |
