Gels have several advantages: easy application, rapid absorption, osmotic action and formation of a protective film. A promising active ingredient is the dry extract of three-part beggarticks (Bidens tripartita L.), which exhibits anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and wound-healing activity. |
